Minerals are very important for the body

Combination of foods when eating food it can maximize the intake of nutrients that enter the body. Here are some examples of combinations of foods that can maximize the intake of iron, calcium, vitamins and zinc disclosed nutrition expert Shannon Crocker as quoted Canadian Living, Thursday (08/27/2015).

1. The intake of iron

Iron is an essential mineral for the body which carries oxygen to spread throughout the body. Vitamin C helps increase iron absorption into the body. Therefore alloys of iron-rich foods such as beef and chicken, followed by citrus or tomatoes helps the absorption of these minerals to the body.

2. Calcium Intake

Vitamin D may help increase calcium and phosphorus obtained from foods such as spinach. It is also able to help absorb calcium for bones and teeth, the better. Milk is one source of Vitamin D.

3. Vitamin Intake

The fat content in foods such as olive oil can help absorb vitamins A, D, E, and K are usually found in kale and broccoli.

4. Zinc Intake

Blending zinc intake with high protein will help the body absorb this important mineral. Zinc is a mineral that functions in the body's healing and immune function.
