Unique bridge in Germany

Unique bridge in Germany

When in difficult conditions, a crazy idea could be a solution. Second overpass in the German state was created specifically for aircraft and ships.
Usually highways and flyovers only passable road vehicles, such as cars, buses, and trucks, but not in Germany. Panzer country has traversed highways and bridges impassable aircraft aboard.

A highway overpass in Leipzig,

Germany made a special plane that would fly and land from Leipzig Airport. The existence of a special bridge this aircraft is not merely to make unique, but this is the German government's efforts in addressing the limitations of the airport area.
Typically, runways and airports are in one area. However, the limitations of this space which caused the aircraft to be flown from the airport runway to be headed for in a small town called Schkeuditz, as well as with the approaching aircraft.
There are three bridges to access the planes coming and going from the runway Schkeuditz. The bridge is often also known as Taxiway. Taxiway each have a length of about 3.6 km.
There are 2 Taxiway which is the most easterly, E7 and E8 are used for aircraft to be prepared to take off on the runway. While the most western or W1 is used for aircraft landing and just wanted to deliver passengers to the terminal.

Not a strange matter if we are in the air when crossing this bridge. However, something thrilling when we were in the car when an aircraft is crossing. Because the high overpasses is equal to the height of flyovers in general is 10-15 meters.

Then overpass Magdeburg or Magdeburg Water Bridge is located near the city of Magdeburg.

Again, the reason for the unification of the location that makes the German government makes a unique bridge. A bridge over the river which flowed streams that can be skipped ship.
This bridge connects the city of Rhineland and Berlin to mark the unification of East and West Germany. The original idea in 1919 and then in 1938 made  wake but delayed by the Second World War with the construction of this bridge.
Magedeburg Water Bridge serves as a liaison groove shipping connecting port in Berlin with existing ports on the Rhine river along both sides of the bridge is open for visitors pedestrians and cyclists.
Construction began in 1997 and was completed in 2003 for engineering offsetting the difference in height between the water Mittelland canal with the Elbe-Havel canal is a bridge along the 918 m (690 m above the ground and 228 m above the water surface) with and into 4.25 m 34 m wide bowl has a maximum span of 106 m and uses about 68 thousand m3 of concrete and 24 thousand tons of steel which allows the shipping of Mittelland canal passes through the Elbe-Havel canal on the Elbe until  industrial Ruhr.
